Business Development Manager

THE ROLE
You will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s client base and increasing revenue in France. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and implementing strategies to increase sales and achieve company targets. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who can thrive in a B2B environment and is passionate about driving growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement strategic business development plans to meet revenue targets and expand market presence
- Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, potential clients, and competitive landscape
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop effective sales materials and campaigns
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels such as networking, cold calling, and attending industry events
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and vendors to identify and qualify opportunities
- Building a strong internal network of resources and working effectively with them to build solutions and deliver against client needs
- Deeply understand each customer's business, including products, services, markets, and decision-making processes
- Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities and outcomes to senior management
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
- Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing desired. Advanced degree in business or in a similar field is a plus
- Proven track record of successful business development and sales experience.
- Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Native French and strong English, written and spoken
- Experience with developing new business and maintaining client relationships.
- Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills; strong conceptual and analytical skills
- Solutions oriented, with an understanding of how to work with senior level management
- Willingness to travel up-to 40% as needed
