Account Manager Engineered Polymers
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Technical Sales Manager based in Poland where you will be joining a chemical distributor.
Key responsibilities
- Creating and controlling the sales budget for individual customers in the region
- Taking effective actions aimed at increasing the sales volume in each region of all product groups from the company's current offer
- Providing customer service in each region in accordance with the company's standards: - active and comprehensive service for customers with higher potential -technical and substantive support for Customer Service in servicing customers with less potential
- Regular planning and conducting sales visits to customers in the region
- Establishing and maintaining good business relations with plastics processors in the
- region along with acquiring new customers for the company
- Preparing and sending sales offers to customers
- Receiving and processing customer inquiries
- Monitoring the degree of implementation of contracts and agreements with strategic customers and systematically updating forecasts for the purchase of raw materials by these customers
- Managing projects and product samples for customers: – determining the customer's demand for samples and entering data into CRM and sending orders to the appropriate Customer Service – monitoring the results of tests performed – updating data in CRM (Development Pool)
- Developing and implementing new applications with customers for individual products
- Supporting customers in technical matters
- Systematic placing of reports from customer visits in CRM, taking into account changes in potential and ensuring completeness and correctness of data in the customer file
- Regularly conducting sales and market analyses, including competition and processing potential, in a given region
- Assessment of the customers' ability to pay and active participation in establishing commercial terms with customers and taking effective actions to collect overdue receivables
- Active participation in resolving customer complaints in consultation with Product Management and Customer Service
- Active participation in preparing and participating in training courses, seminars and fairs
- Skills & Qualifications
- Chemical and application knowledge
- Language Proficiency: English (B2 level)
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Minimum 3 years of experience in R&D and sales roles
- Higher education in a relevant field (biotechnology, chemistry, or related disciplines)
- Ability to work in a small, dynamic team of a family-based entity
- Interdisciplinary approach
- Valid category B driver’s license
- Proficiency in office software and remote communication tools
