About the Client
Our client is a leading worldwide specialty chemicals company with expertise in the development, manufacturing, and supply of chemistry solutions for industrial applications. With European headquarters in the Netherlands, they manufacture and supply a comprehensive range of metalworking fluids, cleaners, and process products—including water-based and straight oil coolants for metal cutting and grinding, as well as formulations for metalworking and cleaning applications across automotive, aviation, aerospace, valves and pumps, marine, and tank and truck industries.
Distribution takes place through a network of European sales branches and a professional distributor network. The company builds its reputation through added-value services, high-quality products, and expert application knowledge. Product development is driven by customer and market feedback, enabling continuous improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical support to sales engineers and customers
• Deliver technical training at customer sites
• Visit clients and prospects alongside sales engineers
• Identify new growth opportunities and provide technical support to acquire them
• Initiate and support new product launches
• Provide feedback on product performance to headquarters and support product development
• Lead technical activities and interpret laboratory results
Must-Haves
• Sound education in chemistry or technical background in fluid management
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in the metalworking industry
• Can-do mentality with strong analytical skills and ability to make quick decisions
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
• High willingness to travel
• Fluent Swedish (spoken and written); English proficiency required
• Based in or willing to relocate to the Stockholm, Gothenburg, or Malmö area
Nice-to-Haves
• Experience in customer-facing technical or support roles
• Involvement in product development or innovation projects
• Knowledge of automotive, aerospace, or industrial manufacturing sectors
